Northern Continent

The southern coast of this continent is grassland fed by mountain streams. There is a mountain range running the long way through the land mass. These mountains are snowcapped year round. This is geologically speaking a young world and the mountains on it have relatively little erosion. North of the mountains is forest and more grass lands. The climate range is cold to temperate There are herds/swarms of large insectoid grazing beasts on the plains. They have 12 legs which appear to barely support their large bodies, and tiny insectoid heads with multifaceted eyes and a large mandible mouth.
